Devonport Guildhall is a social enterprise venue serving the needs of the community, striving to bring people together in one place to enjoy and appreciate the history and diversity that the building has to offer. A standalone cultural venue in its own right, Devonport Guildhall is also part of the Real Ideas Organisation (RIO).
RIO is a social enterprise working with people, places and communities to help make real change happen. RIO uses social enterprise to provide opportunities for people, not just in Plymouth, but across the South West and beyond. RIO has offices in Bristol, Plymouth and Truro but is truly global, working across continents with schools, disadvantaged young people and communities.
RIO is passionate about social enterprise, from embedding its principles and practice into school curriculums, running various employment and learning programmes for young people to delivering a range of events to bring the community together.
If you want to speak to the RIO team to find out more, including RIO’s important role as Arts Council Bridge Organisation for the South West of England, linking young people with arts and culture, give us a call on 08458 621288 or email firstname.lastname@example.org – we’d love to hear from you!
