Devonport Guildhall was proud to host Plymouth Interactive History on Sunday 19th May, an event run by Hidden Plymouth. The event was busy from start until close, with guest speakers fascinating the public with their talks around Plymouth’s Forgotten War and more intriguing history of Plymouth.
Over 200 people turned up throughout the day. There was an exhibition in the Main Hall, with various local and historical stallholders on hand to provide information and bring the rich history of Plymouth to life. With Plymouth History Month taking place throughout May, it was the perfect opportunity to bring people together and share the history of the wonderful city.
As the Devonport Column opened just over a week before the event, interest in the Column is high and we also had over 80 people climb the historical landmark on the day!
